Brewers yeast is a healthy treat for your dog, rich in protein, B vitamins and antioxidants. According to PetMD, it promotes healthy skin, hair, eyes and liver function and may help reduce anxiety. But Brewers Yeast is also a great flea and tick repellant when ingested orally or dusted on the skin of dogs. These "Fluff Off Flea and Tick Repellant" treats are compounded with pure coconut oil that is also great for dogs skin and hair. Keep them refrigerated for a special cool treat on these hot summer days.
These come in two shapes - smaller dog bone (~1.5 grams brewers yeast per treat) and larger paw print (~2.5 grams brewers yeast per treat).
For dogs under 50 pounds, you can give them up to 1.5 grams brewers yeast per 10 pounds per day. NOT FOR FULL DOSAGE IN LARGER DOGS DUE TO POSSIBLE STOMACH UPSET.
