Brewers yeast is a healthy treat for your dog, rich in protein, B vitamins and antioxidants. According to PetMD, it promotes healthy skin, hair, eyes and liver function and may help reduce anxiety. But Brewers Yeast is also a great flea and tick repellant when ingested orally or dusted on the skin of dogs.
These "Bark Off Flea and Tick Repellant" treats are baked with all natural, whole food ingredients like steel cut oats, cheddar cheese, whole wheat flour, bacon, homemade beef stock and eggs. Keep them refrigerated for to lengthen shelf life.
These smaller dog bones contain approximately 0.5g brewers yeast each and are designed for smaller breeds. For dogs under 50 pounds, you can give them up to 1.5 grams brewers yeast per 10 pounds per day. While the amount of brewers yeast required for a large dog is not recommended, these handmade treats will not disappoint. NOT FOR FULL DOSAGE IN LARGER DOGS DUE TO POSSIBLE STOMACH UPSET.
