Garden Gourmet: Mexican Cuisine
Join us for an evening of cooking, fellowship, and gardening led by Yvonne! On August 29th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, we will learn to make some Mexican classics with farm fresh produce. Chile rellenos made with ancho, poblano and Hatch green chiles are on the menu. Stuffed with potato and cheese they are sure to please. Also we will make farm fajitas with freshly harvested vegetables and chicken or beef. You’ll learn how to roast and peel peppers, sharpen your knife skills and make from scratch marinades!
Limited to 10 spots.
Our space is entirely wheelchair accessible, as our kitchen has several modifications. The counters and cabinets elevate to your desired height, the oven is roll under with French doors, and we have an inductive stove top to provide a low risk environment in the kitchen.
